Aldourie castle

Set on the shores of Loch Ness, Aldourie Castle and Estate is situated in a unique and breathtaking location. A new garden is being created by Tom Stuart-Smith Ltd. The works include the area around the castle, extensive restoration of the kitchen garden, improvements and tree planting in the park and the creation of a wild garden in the old woods.
Ptolemy Dean Architects are overseeing the restoration and extension of the castle as well as building works on the wider estate.
This project is ongoing and designed by Tom Stuart-Smith Ltd where Jem was an Associate. His role was as lead landscape architect from 2015-2017 before his return to Australia.
